techniques, optical fiber net, adhesive (PVA), tile cutter
used to make tiles in symmetrical shapes and sizes. We also provide
customized tiles as per customers’ specification.
The cutter has tungsten-carbide wheel
used to score, and a gripper used to break the tile along the score.
The latest Optical fiber Net technique is used to cut the stone
mosaic tile in any shape and size. It is a fine weave resin fiber
that acts as an intermediary base. Mosaics are fixed to the net, The
excess is trimmed and then embedded into the cement.
Mosaic floor tile is suitable
for residential and commercial purpose. It can be used for
room, bathroom and kitchen floorings. Mosaic floor tile looks
more commercial and are widely used for commercial flooring.
Mosaic Floor tiles require
special attention for installing. Various types of adhesives are
used.
Acrylic Based Adhesive is used and is available in many brands. For
mosaics, water resistant adhesives are required. These adhesives are
suitable for interior mosaics as it can strongly hold strongly
adhere tesserae to slippery surfaces like ceramic. The direct method
of mosaic construction involves directly placing (gluing) the
individual tessearae on the supporting surface. This method is well
suited to surfaces which have a three dimensional quality and for
small projects. Double direct method involves direct working on
fiber glass mesh. The mosaics are constructed and are transported in
the final place. Double direct method offers convenience to the work
in comfort rather working at the site. Indirect method is useful for
mosaics with simple or geometric patterns, solid blocks of color,
and extremely large projects. Mosaic tabletops are made using the
indirect method. Mosaic floor tiles are applied upside down
to an adhesive backing paper, and later transferred onto walls,
floors or projects.
